Drivers Education

To enroll you must be at least 15 years or older.

The state of Indiana requires 30 hours of classroom instruction which can be taken during one of the three sessions (spring, summer, or fall) offered at Bishop Dwenger or online at any time. The cost of the program, including the driving portion, is $395. This fee also includes the road test required by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, if you qualify (B- or better in both the book work and driving). The driving portion, which is six (6) hours of behind the wheel driving, can be done during the spring, summer, or fall sessions.

The next Driver's Education Classroom session will be March 10-21, 2025. Registration will open on February 10, 2025. Registration forms will be available on our website and in the Main Office on February 10, 2025.

Online classes are available at any time. Driving instruction is only available when classroom instruction is in session. It will be your responsibility to arrange for driving instruction during those times.
