January 12
- Science Academic team will have its first meeting of the Second Semester on Monday, January 12th after school in room 112. It will be a short meeting but an important one!
- The Discipleship Club will have their first meeting of the semester on Thursday, January 15th at 7:15 . Please join us in the Library. Everyone is Welcomed! Check the band app or find Rebecca Gillett or JP Martinez for more information!
- There will be social studies academic super bowl meeting Tuesday from 3:10- 3:30 in room 231 .
- FBLA will meet Thursday the 15th at 7:20 am in cafeteria to discuss some spring activities. Don't miss out. If there's any questions, please see Mrs. Lewis, Mr. Robinette, or Mrs. Weadock
- Spirit Club will be having our 1st meeting of the 2nd semester on Tuesday, January 13 after school. We will be decorating signs so bring an extra set of clothes if you don't want to get your uniform dirty. The meeting will be from 3-4 in the cafeteria.
- Philomena's Friends knitting and crochet club will have their first gathering of the semester next Tuesday, January 13 after school, in the Library until 4pm. All are welcome - start the New Year off right and learn a new craft - you won't be sorry that you did! See Mrs. Pierson in the Main Office if you have any questions.
- The BD Theater Department is excited to announce auditions for our upcoming high school production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid! Auditions will be held after school on January 14th in the choir room until 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome—no experience necessary!
January 9
- Next Thursday the 15th at 7:20 am in cafeteria join FBLA for our next meeting as we discuss some spring activities. Don't miss out. If there's any questions, please see Mrs. Lewis, Mr. Robinette, or Mrs. Weadock

- Attention students: If you plan to attend the March for Life on January 22nd in Indianapolis you need to have your permission slips and money turned into Ms. Wolf by January 14th.
- Those students attending the March for Life in Indianapolis will need to attend a mandatory information meeting on January 15th at 3:15 in the library. If you are unable to attend this meeting for some reason, you need to see Ms. Wolf.
- The second semester blood drive is coming soon on February 10th. Students who are 16 years or older are eligible to give blood. If you would like to donate blood, choose an open time slot on the MobileServe app, pick-up your permission slip in Pastoral Ministry, and turn in your completed permission slip to Ms. Wolf in Pastoral Ministry.
- Attention BDHS Medical Club: Our first meeting of 2026 will be held in the library on Tuesday, January 13th, at 7 AM. We will be practicing how to place an IV in a patient’s arm, and discussing the upcoming CPR certification dates. All are welcome, new and returning students!
- Dive Into Our Spring Musical!
The BD Theater Department is excited to announce auditions for our upcoming high school production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid! Auditions will be held after school on January 14th in the choir room until 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome—no experience necessary! Students interested in performing should come to the music room to pick up an audition packet and materials. Audition packets are available now and include everything you need to prepare. Want to be part of the show behind the scenes? Joining the crew is easy! Crew members only need to sign up on the list posted on the choir room door—no audition required. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this magical adventure under the sea. Stop by the music room today for your packet, and we’ll see you on January 14th! - Recycling with S.E.A. Will start up again next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unless announced, these will be our recycling days for the second semester which counts for both FLEX and LIST hours.

January 7
- Students AND Parents - this is a friendly reminder that when exiting the Clinton Lot Parking lot onto Clinton street, you may ONLY make a right hand turn. You CANNOT make a left hand turn onto Clinton street during dismissal. This street is too busy and you risk getting into an accident. Signs are posted at that entrance that you may not make a left hand turn. Please follow this traffic safety rule.
- Book Club will meet today after school in Mrs. Yanez's room, 223.
- The Music Club will be meeting today after school in Mrs. Heisler's room until 3:45. All are welcome!
