October 13

  • Join Saints for Life in praying for an end to abortion. We will be praying outside the Planned Parenthood on Lake Ave. Bishop Dwenger will be covering two different hours for the 40 Days for life campaign. Our first time slot is this Friday, Oct. 18th from 9 – 10 am. Our second opportunity to pray is on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd from 4 – 5 pm. Both of these opportunities count as LIST HOURS for service. If you are interested in joining us in prayer, sign up on the Mobile Serve app and pick up your permission slip from Ms. Wolf in Pastoral Ministry.
  •  Girls' basketball tryouts will be held October 20th & 21st.

October 10

  • The Lady Saints Soccer team will be playing Concordia in the Sectional Championship on Saturday at 7 PM at East Noble High School.  Let's pack the stands for the girls as they continue their march towards a State title.  Admission is $7, gates open at 6 PM.

  • Students, this is a friendly reminder from the Spirit Shop.  Sometimes friends and family choose to purchase a birthday package and have your locker decorated for your birthday.  The birthday magnets belong to the Spirit Shop and will be reused for future birthdays.  Please do not take your magnets down or take them home.  Also, please be kind and do not touch magnets that may be on another students locker!  The St. Mother Teresa students kindly volunteered to decorate lockers for the birthday orders this year, and will come back at the end of the day to pick the magnets back up!  Thanks so much with your cooperation in celebrating our Saints birthdays this school year!!!

Please make good use of your day off for the PSAT to make sure your requests are submitted by this date. If you need any assistance with this process, please see your school counselor.     This Wednesday is the Jubilee Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. This is an opportunity that only comes around every 25 years. It is a Mass to experience special blessings, graces and the knowledge that you are known, loved and forgiven by God. The Mass begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. You are also invited to view more information on Jubilee Year 2025 during your 4th period classes this Wednesday presented by the senior Honors Catholic Social Teaching classes. The Jubilee link has been sent to all teachers.

  • The Marching Saints did a top-notch job this weekend at ISSMA Festival Class Finals at Southport High School. The Marching Saints competed against 11 other bands. The Saints received a gold rating. In addition, they were 1 of the 2 bands to receive the visual distinction award. The saints competed against bands 4 times their size. Congratulations Marching Saints!

  • The Bishop Dwenger Catholic Relief Services Club will be meeting tomorrow morning at 7:20 in room 208, Mrs. Hill’s room. Anyone interested in learning more about the club is welcome to join us.

  • FBLA had two tickets open up for the Notre Dame game next Saturday, Oct 11th.  Please see Mrs. Lewis ASAP if you are interested in securing one of these spots.
  • The Battle of the Bishop's is heating up!  As of Wednesday morning, Bishop Luers has taken the lead.  Let's go, Saints!  Bring in those diapers, baby wipes, and cash donations to Pastoral Ministry to see who will win the Battle of the Bishops, Service Level!
  • Book Club will meet today after school in the library.
  • Praise and Worship will meet tomorrow starting at 8:20 in the chapel. All are welcome: students, teachers, staff. Join us for a few minutes or stay the whole time. A great way to start your day with Jesus, beautiful music, pray and friends! Hope to see you all there.
